Asana Tech Talk: "Destroyable Systems: Infrastructure not made to Last”

  • CEID Lecture Hall (map)

Join Asana engineers for a tech talk on Kubernetes on Wednesday, September 26, 8-9pm in the CEID! Elden Seropian, a software engineer from Asana, will be giving a talk on “Destroyable Systems: infrastructure not made to last”. Through asking the eternal question of "What could possibly go wrong?", you can learn how Asana's infrastructure team uses tools like Docker and Kubernetes to make reliable, scalable infrastructure that supports millions of users.

Speaker’s Bio: Hi! I'm Elden and I use they/them/theirs pronouns. I've been at Asana for 3 years. I spent most of that time doing Infrastructure Engineering, and just recently switched over to Product Engineering. I also started Team Rainbow, Asana's Queer Employee Resource Group. I'm a cat foster parent and all-around animal enthusiast, I enjoy crafts of many varieties, and I like rock operas and rationalist fanfiction.
